Dating Has Changed
A couple years ago during a conversation with friends and new acquaintances, one of them said , "I would rather go to the dentist than start dating again."
Ouch! That was rough. What made it worse was that others in the group understood the feeling. I like dentists, but not that much. I realized then that dating had changed.
You are reduced to the coldness of dating apps and algorithms, fake profiles and disappearing acts, and expectations so tragically mismatched that you are left feeling rejected, expendable, and exhausted. Regrettably, it can be a waste of time, money, and emotional investment.
I knew it didn't have to be that way. I couldn't change the past, but I could help people go forward better. I could help the world love better.
I became a certified matchmaker and founded The Velvet Rope Society to eliminate the pain and amplify the joy of dating and finding true love.

Many say the pursuit of perfection is a waste of time because there is no such thing as perfection or that it cannot be attained. When done right, there is a great art to matchmaking. Our mission is to introduce someone open to an intercultural relationship to the person of their dreams or to the person they never knew they always wanted.
Our vision is for every introduction to make our clients feel the way the French writer Stendhal described in the second edition of his 1817 book Rome, Naples and Florence. He was in Italy gazing up at the work of great art masters and was overcome mentally, physically, and emotionally:
“I had attained to that supreme degree of sensibility where the divine intimations of [the art of matchmaking] merged with the impassioned sensuality of emotion.”
We will achieve this by providing an exclusive service that focuses on quality over quantity, hence the name The Velvet Rope Society. Our service will be high touch, high impact, and high results.

Our Process
Once your membership is approved and the onboarding process is completed, we search anywhere in the world based on your criteria for your ideal match. And we do not work with another Founder's Circle client until we have fulfilled your request.*
There is no time limit or geographical restriction on your membership.*
The world is your oyster. We find your pearl.
In-depth, questionnaire-driven interviews are conducted so that we search for a match through your eyes. Legal and social background checks are conducted on you and everyone you meet.
We even arrange the dates.
You are prepped prior to each date.
You and the CEO (curated experiences officer) will schedule post-date sessions. There you will share your thoughts about the date, your match, receive the feedback your date submitted, and discuss adjustments on how to proceed, if necessary.*
